To celebrate the life and times of SE’s founder, Scot Breithaupt, and SE’s motto of “BMX Innovations,” we created a bike like you’ve never seen before. The 27.5+ OM-Duro takes its design cues and aesthetics from the legendary OM Flyer and mixes in some radical mountain bike-style upgrades. This wildly unique bike comes in standard and XL sizes and features big 27.5 x 3.0” tires, a SRAM GX 1x10 drivetrain, Avid BB5 disc brakes front and rear, a new external bottom bracket, and internal cable routing for a dropper seatpost. BMX meets mountain bike; there are no boundaries.

I have had my OM Duro for close to 8 years now, and it's one of my go-to bikes for riding around with the guys! It's a big bike, and it has gears, BUT it still feels like a BMX bike! It does not feel like a mountain bike, or anything else for that matter. It's a big, fast BMX-feeling bike! The gears are very nice, but honestly, here in Florida where I mostly ride, there not much gear changing going on. BUT, we also do have killer trails around my neighborhood, and the gears get used there! The tires do feel fast on pavement, thanks to the center knobs on the tire, and the tires grab when you are in loose sand or dirt. The T-Fatty tires don't feel "spongy" at all. Since I ride mine quite a bit, I took advantage of the dropper post internal cable routing, and installed a Rock Shox model and lever. It's smooth! If you're looking for an all-around fun bike that you can put miles on, this is your next bike!"
