On orders with a value of over $200, a signature will be required on packages sent through USPS and with UPS, as per PayPal rules to ensure safe arrival of your order. 

WE DO ADDRESS CHECKS ON ALL COMPLETE BIKE ORDERS, and ORDERS OVER $200! Any order with a shipping address, or ship-to name that we cannot verify will be held for up to 2 weeks, or cancelled and refunded. Due to the amount of fraud that we encounter, it is necessary to take these steps to protect both our customers, and ourselves. Any order going to a freight-fowarder that does not have a confirmed address WILL be held for at least 2 week to verify that it is not a fradulent order.

LAYAWAYS or BIKE DEPOSITS: Any layaway, or bike deposit is refundable during the first 90 days. If you are placing a deposit on a new bike that is coming in, you are entitled to a refund up until the bike arrives into stock, or until the date that the balance is due. If a refund for a bike is requested after this timeframe, store credit will be issued.

* FREE SHIPPING applies to orders over $300 that are shipping to areas in the lower 48 Continental States in the USA.

WARRANTY ISSUES: 

BICYCLES:

All bikes purchased through PlanetBMX MUST be assembled by a certified bike shop mechanic. If the bike is NOT built by a certified bike shop mechanic, any warranty will be VOID. We will request for an assembly receipt as proof of professional installation.

So that we can help you in a timely manner, make sure to include the following:

1. Order Number (we will confirm date of purchase and determine if the item is still under the manufacturer’s warranty time limit)
2. Brief description of the claim
3. Photographs
4. Serial number of bike
We evaluate all warranties on a case-by-case basis to determine the best course of action and get you serviced to the best of our ability.

Warranty does not apply to the following:

• Any part of a product that has been installed, altered, repaired, or misused
• Damage from unintended style of riding, abuse, neglect, skidding, accident, and racing
• Normal wear and tear of any product (including but not limited to - saddles, grips, tires, tubes, cables, brake pads, chains)
• Failure to provide regular maintenance of any product
Labor and shipping are the responsibility of the customer. We do not cover parts purchased and labor performed by another bike shop.

Note: Warranty is for original owner only.

SKYWAY Tuff Wheels:  All Skyway TUFF WHEELS are covered by a ONE YEAR WARRANTY by the manufacturer, SKYWAY RECREATION PRODUCTS.  The WARRANTY covers your wheels against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase.   

ALL warranty claims for all TUFF WHEELS will be honored by contacting us at customerservice@planetbmx.com.

PROFILE RACING items:  All Profile Race CRANKS are covered by a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY by the manufacturer, PROFILE RACING, INC.  The WARRANTY covers your cranks against defects in materials or workmanship for as long as YOU, the original purchaser, own the cranks.   Please make sure to send in your Profile owners registration when you purchase your cranks to validate your warranty!

ALL warranty claims for all PROFILE RACING items will be honored by PROFILE direct, and must be sent to the following address when filing a claim:

All other product will be guaranteed by EF3Bikes, Inc, DBA "Planet BMX", against defects in material and worksmanship for a period of 30 days from date of purchase.  Please contact us by email or phone to determine the best way to handle this situation.

RETURNS: No returns on any item after 30 days  A 10% restocking fee will be charged for returning an order that is not being sent back for warranty reasons.

No returns on any custom orders.   Customer is responsible for shipping on all returns and exchanges.

If an item is to be returned to us for any other reason, approval must be made in advance through email (customerservice@planetbmx.com), and a RETURN AUTHORIZATION CODE will be given. That code must accompany your return so we can quickly identify your return and process it quickly. Returns are subject to a 10% return fee. If you return an item or order without a Return Authorization Code, your return can be subject to a 20% restock fee. ALL items returned MUST be BRAND NEW, in the ORIGINAL packaging. 

A 10% restocking fee will be charged for returning an order that is not being sent back for warranty reasons.

If an item (such as a complete bike, frameset, or anything that reqires assembly) is assembled prior to being returned to us, it WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED back for a refund! ALL items MUST BE IN IT'S ORIGINAL PACKAGING in NEW CONDITION!

If you are returning an item that was shipped to you with "free" shipping, you will be charged the cost of that original shipping cost.  There's really no such thing as "free" shipping, as UPS and the Post Ofiice does charge us for each and all items that are shipped out from here. 

SHIPPING / BILLING ADDRESS or NAME MISMATCH:Please use a credit card in which the billing address is the same as your shipping address. Having a mismatched shipping address may delay your order up to 2 weeks so we can have time to confirm that address. For the fastest service, PLEASE make sure that your "ship to" address, and your "billing" address is the same as what your credit card or bank has on file.
